Monochrome Eclipse sort of.
The cloud cover was extremely heavy and so I am blessed to have seen this as no one here actually thought we would see it and the clouds parted for me and it was perfect. Thank you Nature.
Making this an almost monochrome image. It was just that grey in the day. It could pass for a monochrome image on this blog.

Archetypes
IMG 5289 Archetypes, a photo by Images @ Melonpopzdropz on Flickr.
Archetypical Images are blue prints or originals. Brice is an original and therefore to me he is an archetype.04 November 2012

I seek the beauty of the very moment which is.
Seeing this flag was beautiful and at this moment I had to stop and photograph it.

A lie told often enough becomes the truth.
~ LENIN ~
Listening to the birds today, they seem happy enough. Are they happy? Or are they making this much noise because like most of the world is, they are worried.

Stellar even in Monochrome
These are the discs I paint. This is a stellar design and no two are the same. The ones l painted last weekend are astounding. I have to photograph these as they are seemingly inspired by the ocean that is very close to me here.

Hand Powered Tools
These are meat mincers you attach to the table or bench and you turn the handle with your hand and this is how it was done in the times past when there was no electricity. These are set for a comeback in society as the price of electricity becomes unaffordable.

Getting Really Ornamental now
Ornaments hold the world together not sentiment. I am joking of course. Sentiment is what holds the matrix together. It is the stuff of emotion.

Late Afternoon at the sheds
A few days a week Brice goes and helps Paul move stuff at the sheds. Paul has been renovating the shop and he desperately needed another pair of strong hands to move furniture around to re arrange the shop. Brice needed to do something else to continue with his rehabilitation from the damage of Bellingen and its weak arsed towns people and the past family damage to his life.
No longer will he stand alone ever. I love the honor this man displays. True honor too, not the watered down version others like to think they have. This here is a truly honorable man. One who did his time honorably and never spoke about others.

Following footprints at Dawn in Urunga
Sometimes I love to take an image of the evidence of nature. Where nature has been and left her mark.
This time she left her mark in the sand with some great brown wood duck footprints. The wood duck is prolific around this area of the coast. The wood duck is Uncle Tom's Totem. Uncle Tom Kelly is the Gumbaynggirr Elder around these parts.

Antique car visits Antique Shop
What a wonderful specimen of a vehicle of this make and kind. My first car was a mini minor. I loved how it maneuvered around into small places and it was definitely the car of my choice. I got this car when I had been with John ( my children's father) a few weeks back in 1981.
Sadly it didn't like the trip up to the Mid North Coast and died on one of the trips back to Newcastle at the time. It was my first car though and I will always remember it as such.
