Heading out at dawn this morning taking images and looking for that image that is different to all the rest. I came across the tree in the lagoon. It looked lonely separated from the rest of the trees on the other side of the footbridge. This led me to think about being separated from the ones I love. I wondered if the tree felt the way I do. I wondered what the tree had done to be left alone. Why did they take all the other ones out and not leave one tree as a friend to that tree.

How many times do we pass others and wonder what is their story. Everyone has a story. Some have a bigger story than others but it is still a story. When people reach their elderly years they should not be just put on the scrap heap. These are the overseers, these are the ones who should be keeping an eye on the ones younger doing certain jobs making sure the standard is kept high. Instead the aged are seen as no good any more. They are no longer seen with the reverence they should be for their wisdom of age. There will always be new fads but underneath all of that life is the same and we all eat sleep and die. Along the way a lot happens that never changes. This is the wisdom that is being lost while ever the elderly are seen as useless and just taking up space. That attitude is filthy and it depicts the hedonistic ways of today more than ever before.
