Many times I have heard the sayin, "You cannot put an old head on young shoulders". I guess some are just born wise.
When you meet young men already
possessing a wisdom well beyond their sparse years it is a comfort to those who are older in years.
This was one such young man. A calm and quiet thinker. A methodical and watchful young man. I liked Deane a lot. It was like having a son around camp. (Glenugie Blockade) He showed much respect to all mothers with his words and actions. Deane is going to be a wonderful life partner to someone. He is way ahead of his years.

Rappville N.S.W.
A small and very beautiful little town just off the Summerland Way near Casino. This town is full of people effected by Csg. The water is dodgy if its the bore water and the creeks near to this town are bubbling with Methane. This is the same as the Condamine in Queensland.
Our NSW Governments ought to be ashamed to cause such harm to the people and deny this. Bring back capital punishment.

Face of an Earth Warrior
Mad Max revisited ... If life suddenly aligned itself similar to the Mad Max movies, this is one Simmo I would want to have in my community where I was.
This image was taken outside of the Grafton Court House. There were many facing court this day on the 8th January 2013 for standing up for the planet and taking on the large corporations. In this case the Mining Industry.

Monochrome Eclipse sort of.
The cloud cover was extremely heavy and so I am blessed to have seen this as no one here actually thought we would see it and the clouds parted for me and it was perfect. Thank you Nature.
Making this an almost monochrome image. It was just that grey in the day. It could pass for a monochrome image on this blog.

I seek the beauty of the very moment which is.
Seeing this flag was beautiful and at this moment I had to stop and photograph it.

Listening to the birds today, they seem happy enough. Are they happy? Or are they making this much noise because like most of the world is, they are worried.

Stellar even in Monochrome
These are the discs I paint. This is a stellar design and no two are the same. The ones l painted last weekend are astounding. I have to photograph these as they are seemingly inspired by the ocean that is very close to me here.
